He is now entering his 3rd year of Pastoral leadership at the First Baptist Church of Creve Coeur.
Dr. Scott believes in the mind, body and spirit connection of both the individual and the
community. He works to bring them in healthy partnership. He firmly believes that “God is Still
Speaking”. It is his desire to be a voice for God and carry out the vision that God has bestowed
upon him while preaching a complete gospel to meet the total needs of God’s people that will
help assist in developing disciples daily as we learn, live and love the word of God.
Dr. Scott also believes we have a great responsibility to keep rooted and based in our scripture as
our written guide and listening to God’s living message, so it’s important that we keep our minds
and spirits rooted in God’s ever loving word and to stay connected with one another in
fellowship. Dr. Scott encourages us to continue running with the winner as we carry out the
vision of “Developing Disciples Daily” in which the Lord has set before us, so that we can
remain pleasing in God’s sight as He continues to not only take First Baptist higher in His name,
but all of his children.
